This week we have had great fun being perfume scientists! We have been using our noses to notice all of the different smells. We used the peel of oranges, lemons and limes and mixed them with basil, mint, cloves and water to make our very own perfume. We have learned how to use a grater and have been chopping with a knife and grinding with a rolling pin. We also learned how to use a sieve to separate the lumpy bits from our perfume water. Finally, we learned how to use a pipette to bottle our perfume.
