News: CoVid Update

Dear Parents/Carers,
Since the start of the school year, we have seen a rise in the number of positive CoVid cases being reported across the school. To help reduce the spread we are continuing to follow all Welsh Government guidelines and Local Authority advice. Children who are close contacts of positive cases are no longer required to isolate (so they can still attend school) but you may be contacted by TTP and advised to take your child for a PCR test.
If your child shows any wider symptoms of CoVid – headache, feeling unwell, vomiting etc. I would ask parents/carers to be vigilant and carry out an Lateral Flow test.
If your child is showing any symptoms of CoVid (high temp. new persistent cough, loss of smell/taste) you must not send him/her into school – instead he/she must isolate and you should book a PCR test.
Working together we can try to reduce the spread, keeping children, staff, families and the wider community safe.
Many thanks,
Mrs Billington
