Well, I can’t quite believe that the year has finished – it doesn’t seem like that long ago when I was writing to you all to introduce myself.
What a year it has been! We’ve had highs and lows but through it all the children here at Park C.P. have been truly wonderful. I am so glad that I joined the school and your community – although I haven’t yet had the opportunity to meet with you all, I really do now feel like part of the Llay family.
On behalf of all the staff here at Park C.P. I would like to extend our thanks to you all for your support over the year and for the kind messages and gifts you have sent, I personally have been overwhelmed by your kindness. We got through this year by working together and I know that this will continue as we move forward to September.
Local Authority have advised that for the first few weeks in September, we keep the measures we now have in place. This means that our staggered start and finish times will continue, parents should remain socially distanced on drop off and collection, and face masks will still be required on school premises. Once we have clear information on case numbers etc. then we will look at easing restrictions and getting back to some normality! Drop off and collection times/arrangements will be posted shortly on the website under Class Pages.
Many thanks to those of you who returned our questionnaires sent out with the reports – I shall share the results next term along with new and exciting initiatives that we have planned to take the school forward.
Uniform will be available this afternoon – feel free to help yourselves, but be mindful of social distancing, please wear face coverings and use the hand sanitiser.
In the meantime, have a lovely summer break and stay safe. We’ll see you back on Thursday 2nd September 2021!
