All children from Reception to Year 6 are now entitled to a free school meal. This is the Universal Free School Meals offer funded by the Welsh Government.
All menu choices must still be booked through Parent Pay and we urge parents to do this in advance. (This makes the process far easier for our canteen staff who would like to thank parents in advance for their co-operation.)
Children can still bring in a packed lunch if they wish to do so.
Children in Nursery who attend wraparound care will need to pay for their meal – please contact Elaine Owen with any queries.
If you are in receipt of certain benefits you should still register for Free School Meals as not only does this provide you with a school uniform grant and remissions for residential trips, there is also a reduced cost for Breakfast Club and school also receives additional funding from the Welsh Government, which enhances the education of all our children. Parent Pay accounts will be set up for children once admitted into school.
