News: St David’s Day Arrangements

Good Morning,
Just to remind everyone that school reopens tomorrow, 1st March and children should wear clothes to celebrate St David’s Day: traditional Welsh costumes, Welsh sports kits or anything red or green. Years 5 & 6 will be attending the St David’s Day parade in Wrexham town centre in the afternoon, whilst Years 3 & 4 will be parading around the village.

As rain is forecast, please ensure the children have coats in school.

Given the wet weather, we have shortened the route for Years 3 & 4. The children will leave school around 1.30pm and parade around Eighth Avenue, Sixth Avenue, Second Avenue & First Avenue (see attached map). They will then congregate in the rockery and sing two Welsh songs.
Please remember that all children in KS2 now finish at 3.15pm.
I hope you’ve all had an enjoyable half term break and look forward to welcoming the children back to school tomorrow.
Many thanks,
Mrs Billington
