As we look forward to welcoming the children back to school, we are mindful that although Wales is at Alert Level Zero, we must still have measures in place to ensure we reduce the risk of CoVid. Following guidance from the Local Authority and Welsh Government please be aware of the following:
For this week and next week we will operate much the same as we were back in July with staggered start and collection times etc. Staff will be on hand to support the children (especially those joining Year 1 and Year 3). Updates will be sent next week as we change things and (hopefully) get back to normality!
Key Stage 2
Children in Key Stage 2 should arrive in school between 8.45am and 9am. They should be dropped off at the school gates and head straight into class. Years 3/4 should enter through the door marked ‘Boys’ on the front yard; Years 5/6 should enter through the door marked ‘Infants’ on the side yard. These are also the doors the children should be collected from.

All school meals must be booked in advance and paid for via ParentPay. If your child is entitled to free school meals, you must still login and select the meals.
A healthy snack is provided for children in Foundation Phase and charged at £1 per week. This can be paid for either in cash at the school office or via ParentPay.
Children in Key Stage 2 must bring their own healthy snack.
Children displaying symptoms of CoVid or have tested positive for CoVid MUST NOT ATTEND school. They must stay at home to isolate and you should book a PCR test.
New guidance on close contacts will be sent out shortly.
Breakfast and After School Clubs will be open as usual.
Face Coverings must still be worn by visitors and parents/carers on school premises. Please also aim to stay socially distanced from others at drop off and collection times.
Many thanks for your support and I look forward to what I’m sure will be another successful year!
