Ruby Class making bridges

Last week Ruby Class completed a new superhero mission. The children were asked to make a bridge for the animals to cross over the quicksand. The children were only allowed to use wooden blocks and paper for their bridge. First, we looked at different types of bridges and decided that the arch and beam bridge would be the best to make. We discovered by folding the paper and adding more layers that our bridges became stronger and could hold a large amount of animals at once. Finally we adapted our bridges for different types of weather conditions. Da Iawn Ruby Class.
