This week in Maths we have been learning about finances. We have thought about different financial circumstances, budgeting, and investment. Children worked as families today to manage a budget and made some difficult life choices about: rent, car finance, buying a pet and events.
As well as this, on Monday our class were lucky enough to visit St. Francis of Assisi Church to celebrate The Feast of St Francis. Canon Bernard Lordan spoke to the class about the sacrifices that St. Francis made and was very impressed with some of our own knowledge too!
On Friday, during a blustery day we decided to test our parachutes from our investigation on air resistance. We had lots of fun! If anyone finds a parachute, which blew over the fence, (and the houses), could you please return to school.
