Early Years: Nursery

Dosbarth Nursery has been super lucky to be invited to take part in a really exciting project with Wrexham Museum! We’ve been asked to visit the museum’s secret storeroom (how cool is that?) and help choose which items we’d love to see on display in their brand new building.

We’ll be heading there once a week for the next four weeks, and Eleri, the museum’s lovely officer, has planned loads of fun activities for us. 

All of the children who attend Nursery are invited ton our trip to the museum on the following dates: 12/6/25, 19/6/25, 25/6/25, 3/7/25.  We will be leaving the school at 12:30 prompt and returning at 3:00. 
If you’re child uses our Wraparound provision, the children will be joining us on the trip with Treasure Chest staff. Any children who attend Nursery in the morning and wish to come with us in the afternoon are most welcome. (Please ensure your child has a packed lunch).  Please collect your child from the Nursery classroom at 3:00.

Last Wednesday, Eleri came to visit us in school. All of Nursery got together to meet her, and she brought along some very interesting, very unusual—and yes, even a bit disgusting!—artefacts for us to explore. The children were fascinated!

We had such a fun afternoon, meeting new faces and catching up with old friends. We can’t wait to see what the next few weeks have in store!
