Our Wraparound provision provides care for the children who attend the Nursery Class from September to July. The children are able to attend before or after their Nursery session as we have a morning and afternoon session available. Children are escorted to and from Nursery by our staff members. Some children may be eligible for the funded 30 hours free childcare offer which means that they can attend every day for free. You must apply online for this funding via https://www.gov.wales/get-30-hours-childcare-3-and-4-year-olds. Bookings and fees are made via Parent Pay one week in advance.
We are able to provide care for up to 18 children within this provision per session with 3 of our staff who work on a rota to ensure our ratio is met. The children have a variety of activities to choose from and they are able to make their own choices. Some activities are planned for the children to take part in i.e., messy painting and themed activities. The children are offered a small snack during the session which is something to eat and a drink of milk or water. We also have use of the school yard so that the children can enjoy some fresh air and use some of their energy up playing some team games.
