News: Diolch Mrs Martin!

Today, we said a heartfelt thank you and farewell to Mrs Martin who has been such a cherished part of our school community for many years. Mrs Martin is retiring from her role after over 15 years of dedicated service.
Mrs Martin has been the quiet strength behind so many children’s success stories. Her calm presence, kind heart, and unwavering patience have helped generations of pupils grow in confidence, learn new skills, and feel safe, valued and supported every single day.
She has worked across year groups, supported a wide range of children with different needs, and done it all with a smile. Whether she was helping a child to crack a tricky problem, calming nerves on a wobbly morning, or offering a listening ear to a colleague — nothing was ever too much trouble.
Many of us here have had the pleasure of working closely with Mrs Martin, and we’ll all agree that her impact reaches far beyond the classroom. She’s been a trusted friend, a reassuring presence, and a constant source of positivity and good humour.
Mrs Martin has been our taxi driver, our star baker, our hamper maker, our First Aider and of course she established the wonderful “Time to Shine” sessions which the children LOVE!
Her legacy will live on in the confidence she’s helped to build, the lives she’s helped to shape, and the hearts she’s touched along the way.
Mrs Martin will be greatly missed by staff, pupils, and families alike. But she leaves with our deepest gratitude and very best wishes as she begins this new and exciting chapter. We hope it brings her joy, rest, and all the things she loves most.
Thank you so much – Diolch yn Fawr Iawn Mrs Martin from everyone at Park CP.
