Dear Parents/Carers,
Apologies for the late notice.
Chirk Castle have just (within the last hour) contacted school to share that due to the high winds forecasted for tomorrow they will be closing the castle & grounds. Therefore, the trip for Years 1 & 2 will be postponed until after the Easter holidays.
I realise that the children will be disappointed by this news, however, we must always prioritise their safety.
Once we have a new date confirmed, I will share this with parents/carers.
I would be grateful if you could share this update with parents/carers who don’t have the school app or are unlikely to check the website.
The children are expected to be in school tomorrow – we’ll make sure that they have a fun day instead!
