Annwyl Pawb,
Some lovely news to share about the kindness and generosity of our children.
As I’m sure you’ll all remember, before the summer holidays we held a fundraising event at school to raise money for one of our lovely children who needs a hairpiece and the response was phenomenal.
Over the summer, two of our boys decided that they wanted to continue raising money to help and so they set up a stall (ironing board) outside their mum’s salon in Chester and sold cakes that they had made and bought. They also picked plums from their tree and sold these to passers by.
The boys spent hours outside the shop speaking to every person who passed about why they were raising money and managed to raise a huge amount totalling £574.55!!!
Our sincerest thanks go to these two – we are honestly so proud of them and I know that their mum is too. What a wonderfully kind gesture. Well done both – da iawn.
Kind Regards,
Mrs Billington
Pennaeth
