The children have been working incredibly hard this term to create their own personal masterpieces which will be showcased in a professional art exhibition at school next week. All the children’s artwork will be framed and displayed for all to see in our school hall, with the opportunity for parents to purchase the pieces.
Arranged by our Pupil Influence Group “The Performing Arts Ambassadors” led by Mrs Cartwright, classes have been exploring the various styles used by a wide range of artists before creating their own pieces. They have questioned why some artwork is worth millions of pounds and debated whether artists do the work for love or money?!
We would encourage everyone to pop along to the Art Exhibition to see the amazing talent we have here at Park CP (there is no obligation to buy). The artwork will be priced at £10 will all profits going to School Funds. It’s cash only and the pieces will be sent home to those who purchase the following week to ensure that the full exhibition is available throughout the evening.
The Art Exhibition will be held on Thursday 23rd October from 3pm to 6pm in the school hall.
