News: Fun Day!

Annwyl Pawb,
Tomorrow, Thursday 17th July 2025 is our annual Fun Day and this year to commemorate 100 years of Park CP we’re going old school!
Whilst enjoying the delights of bouncy castle fun, the children will also have the opportunity to visit our traditional fairground games such as Splat the Rat and Hook a Duck! All of this has been made possible by YOU, helping us to raise money throughout the year for our School Funds.
The weather is not looking too promising, however, we won’t let this dampen our fun! Instead, we’ll host the traditional fairground in the hall and limit numbers on the bouncy castles for safety.
Please note that the bouncy castles are optional and when bouncing there is always an element of risk. Whilst we will do our utmost to keep the children safe and encourage them to bounce responsibly; inevitably there may be the odd bump or fall. IF YOU DO NOT WISH YOUR CHILD TO ACCESS THE BOUNCY CASTLES YOU MUST LET THEIR CLASS TEACHER KNOW IN ADVANCE.
Health and Safety Risk Assessments have been completed, however, we can only minimise the risk.
If it is raining, we will further restrict the numbers on the bouncy castles in accordance with the company directions. Children may get wet when bouncing and therefore, we recommend either sending in waterproofs or a change of clothing.  Our school uniform is designed to allow the children to access the outdoors and take part in physical activity, so, school uniform is still required for the rest of the week. Year 6 are welcome to wear shirts etc. to write on.
Please take care when arriving and collecting children tomorrow as there may be cables running across the yard.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed for dry weather!
Diolch,
Mrs Billington
