News: Non-Uniform Day

Annwyl Pawb,
On Friday 17th July, we will be holding a Non-Uniform Day to raise funds in support of a wonderful young lady in our school who has alopecia.
Alopecia is an autoimmune condition that causes hair loss. Whilst it does not affect a child’s physical health, it can have a significant impact on their confidence, self-esteem and emotional wellbeing. For many children, losing their hair can be a very difficult experience, and specialist hairpieces can make a huge difference in helping them feel more confident and comfortable.
We would love to come together as a school community to show our support. We are suggesting a minimum donation of £2 in exchange for children wearing their own clothes on the day. However, any donation, no matter how big or small, will be greatly received and will go towards helping to purchase a specialist hairpiece.
This is a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate one of our school values by showing kindness, compassion and support for others. We know our school community will get behind this worthwhile cause and help make a real difference.
Thank you, as always, for your continued generosity and support.
Kind regards,
Mrs Billington
Headteacher
