We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed parent to join our Governing Body as a Parent Governor.
This is an exciting opportunity to:

Make a real difference to the education and life of all children at Park CP School.

Represent the views of parents and help shape the strategic direction of the school.

Work alongside staff and fellow governors to ensure the school continues to improve and provide the best possible opportunities for every child.
What does a Parent Governor do?
Parent Governors are full members of the Governing Body with the same rights and responsibilities as other governors. They bring a parental perspective to discussions and decisions but do not represent individual parents. Governors work collectively to:

Support and challenge school leadership.

Oversee the school’s vision, values, and priorities.

Monitor educational performance and wellbeing.

Ensure resources are used effectively.
Who can apply?
Any parent, carer, or person with parental responsibility for a child currently at Park CP School is eligible. No special qualifications are needed – just enthusiasm, commitment, and a willingness to learn. Full training and support will be provided.
