Dear Parents,
The School Nursing Team will be visiting school on the 4th & 5th February 2025 to complete screening checks with the children. Please see the attached information for further details.
The School Entry Hearing Screening Pathway is a national service that will offer a hearing screen to all children during their reception year.
IMPORTANT – If you child has a peritoventricular shunt, different testing arrangements need to be made. Please contact your hearing screener (see below) who will inform the Paediatric Audiology Department.
IMPORTANT – If you do not want your child to have this important test you must inform your hearing screener immediately to opt-out, via telephone or email.
