As part of our theme, children explored Conwy Castle using Minecraft: Education Edition and the Cadw extension, which is freely accessible from home via Hwb. They identified key castle features and discussed their defensive purposes. Pupils also listened to in-game characters, who explained their roles in daily castle life.
Following this, the children began designing their own castles, carefully considering location, essential features, and optional extras such as dungeons and secret passages. Many pupils have asked if they can continue building their castles at home.
