A new system is being installed at school today to help us accurately record everyone who is on site for safeguarding and Health & Safety purposes.
From Monday, if children arrive late to school, parents/carers must sign their child in on the screen in the main reception area. The system will ask parents to provide a reason and will update our school registers automatically. Children in Years 5 & 6 who generally arrive unaccompanied will be able to sign themselves in, with support from Mrs Carver. They too will be asked to provide the reason for the lateness which will be recorded on our system.
If children have to leave school during the day for any reason – medical appointments, illness etc. parents/carers must sign their child out using the same system.
The system has been setup to ensure the process is quick and simple.
It is vitally important that school maintains accurate records of persons (including children) on site for Health & Safety reasons including fire safety purposes.
