The children had great fun turning our Object of Curiosity into a ‘Reel Race’ today! Using a simple cotton reel, they explored energy and energy transfer, finding ways to power their reels and race them across the classroom. Like true scientists, there was plenty of testing, adapting, remaking and trying again along the way!
This afternoon, we enjoyed an RSE session with Hannah, exploring how different things can be helpful or harmful and how people can have different viewpoints which may influence others. Hannah was really impressed by the children’s thoughtful responses and praised the mature and sensible way they approached the discussions.
