Annwyl Pawb,
As you may be aware, there was a fire on the industrial estate near school last night. As a result, there is still a noticeable smell of smoke in the air around the village this morning.
At present, we have not received any advice or instruction to keep children indoors. However, we will continue to monitor the situation closely throughout the day and take appropriate precautions if necessary.
We will also be particularly mindful of children with asthma or other respiratory conditions, keeping a close eye on their wellbeing.
The safety and wellbeing of our children and staff remain our priority. Should the situation change, or if we receive any further advice from the relevant authorities, we will update parents accordingly.
Thank you for your understanding.
