The Met Office is showing a dry day tomorrow and so we will go ahead with the planned Sports Day for Years 1 & 2. Parents and families are welcome to arrive from 1:45pm – please note that the gates will be locked once the children are on the field.
This year, the children will be bringing all their belongings with them onto the field.
Once the races are completed, classes will remain seated in their groups with staff.
Parents will be asked to form a line to collect their children from staff on the field.
Children will need to be signed out with the class teacher and there will be staff on the gates to monitor who the children are with.
We would ask for your patience, understanding and co-operation with the handover, so that we can ensure every child is safe.
Please do not call your children over to you – we know that they’ll be super excited to see parents and family members and will try to get them to you as quickly and safely as possible.
