This morning Dosbarth Celyn have had a visit from St John Ambulance.
They covered what to do in the first instance of an emergency, such as what information to give and what dangers could be involved.
After children were shown CPR and the correct process to follow:
A – Airway
B – Breathing
C – Circulation
They then were able to practise compressions on the Fred (the dummy!) The class also had a go at putting each other in the recovery position and finished with a tour of the ambulance.
