News: Asthma and Allergies

Please note that it is the responsibility of parents/carers to ensure that school is kept well informed and updated about asthma and allergies.  If your child has a diagnosed allergy, then you must ensure a detailed care plan is provided and any updates to the plan shared with school. If the allergy is severe or the Allergy Action Plan doesn’t provide enough detail, then you must request a meeting to discuss this with either myself or your child’s class teacher.   If your child has asthma and uses an inhaler, please ensure that the inhaler and spacer is sent into school daily and that the appropriate medical forms have been completed.  It is the responsibility of parents/carers to ensure school are made aware of changes to asthma or allergy plans and we prefer this to be done in person or via a telephone call to ensure that we have all the information needed to help keep your child safe. Should you wish to discuss this further please do not hesitate to contact me at school.  Kind Regards, Mrs Billington Headteacher
