A Message from our Head Boy, Head Girl and their Deputies: “This year to celebrate Harvest we have decided to make food hampers which will be given to people in our community. We would like to ask everyone to bring in an item or items of food over the next week, which we can use in our hampers. Examples include:
- Tinned foods
- Fresh fruit or vegetables
- Chocolates
- Sweets
- Packets of food – rice, pastas etc.
- Juice
- Cakes
- Breads – crumpets, wraps etc. (with a date longer than the 27th!)
No frozen foods or fresh meats, dairy etc. please as we can’t store them appropriately. If anyone, would like to nominate a member of the community to receive a hamper please email [email protected] – you must include the person’s name and address. Nominations must be received by Wednesday 18th October. (If we have too many nominations, we will pop names in hat.) We will be making up the hampers in school on Monday 23rd October and delivering them on Friday 27th October. Please give what you can – every little helps!
