Yesterday we had a fabulous day competing against two other schools in a Spelling and a Maths competition. In the morning we entered the Spelling Bee Competition. Some of the words the children were asked to spell were so hard!! Well Done to Eric who won the Year 6 contest!
In the afternoon, we entered the 24 Maths competition. Well done to Harry and Caden who came third in their respective competitions! The standards were extremely high in both competitions!
A massive Congratulations to everyone who participated – I was so proud of their enthusiasm, perseverance, and most of all, support for their peers! It was a pleasure to see.
I think (for some people) the highlight was the juice and biscuits provided. Although some people couldn’t wait to eat their lunch at Snack time!
