News: Staff Changes in Nursery and Year 6

Annwyl Pawb, As many of you will know Mrs Thompson will be starting her Maternity after the Easter holidays and after much careful thought, Mrs Adams has also decided to fly our nest and take on new adventures.  I wanted to share the exciting news with you all this afternoon that following the Easter holidays, Miss Ivison will be moving to the Nursery class as their teacher. Miss Ivison has already been visiting the class over the past week and getting to know the children and she will be spending lots of time in there next week with Mrs Thompson and Mrs Adams. Our lovely Nursery TAs, Miss Bright and Miss Owen will be staying with the classes so the children will still have a familiar adult available.  Mrs Adams, Mrs Thompson and Miss Ivison will be available throughout the day on Thursday 21st March if any parents want to pop in or telephone to speak to them about their child’s progress and next steps. Please email Mrs Adams or Mrs Thompson to arrange an appointment (between 9am and 4pm).  Miss Ivison has chatted with her Year 6 class this afternoon and shared the news with them about this change. We have reassured the children that she will still be in the building and available for them and we have plans for lots of visits/learning opportunities between Tegid and Nursery in the Summer Term. I will confirm with parents who our new Year 6 teacher will be next week and Miss Davies, our wonderful class TA, will continue to support the children for the remainder of the year.  I’d like to take this opportunity to wish Mrs Adams every success in her new endeavours, she will be missed by us all, and of course we can’t wait to meet Mrs Thompson’s new bundle of joy when she arrives. Have a lovely weekend everyone! Best wishes, Mrs Billington Headteacher
