Jeremy Miles MS, Minister for Education and Welsh Language has opened a consultation seeking views on the school year. They are seeking your views on proposals to amend school term dates so that terms are more equal in length, with more evenly distributed breaks, for maintained schools in Wales.
The consultation:https://www.gov.wales/structure-school-yearstarts today, 21 November 2023 and will be open until 12 February 2024. The Welsh Government would like to attract a wide range of responses and have asked schools to share these details on their platforms.
